We believe in transparency and minimal data collection—your audio files are processed entirely on your device and never uploaded to our servers.

ReverseAudio does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the app. We do not collect:
- Names, email addresses, or contact information
- User credentials or login information
- Payment information (handled securely by Apple and RevenueCat)
- Profile data or user-generated content
1.2 Audio Files

All audio processing happens locally on your device. Your audio files:
- Are never uploaded to our servers or cloud services
- Are never transmitted over the internet
- Remain entirely under your control on your device
- Are processed using on-device audio processing technology
1.3 Automatically Collected Information
We collect limited, anonymized analytics data through Firebase Analytics to improve app performance and user experience:
- Device Information: Device model, iOS version, screen size
- App Usage: Feature usage frequency, session duration, app crashes
- Performance Data: App load times, processing speed metrics
- General Location: Country/region level (not precise location)
This data is anonymized and aggregated—we cannot identify individual users from this information.
1.4 Subscription Information
Subscription management is handled by RevenueCat and Apple's App Store. We receive limited subscription status information (active/expired) but do not have access to your payment details, which remain securely with Apple.
2. How We Use Your Information
The limited information we collect is used exclusively for:
- App Functionality: Providing core audio reversal features
- Performance Improvement: Identifying and fixing bugs, crashes, and performance issues
- Feature Development: Understanding which features are most valuable to users
- Subscription Management: Verifying subscription status and providing premium features
- Analytics: Aggregated usage statistics to improve user experience
We do not use your information for:

4.1 Local Storage
All audio files processed by ReverseAudio are stored locally on your device in your app's private storage area. This data:
- Is protected by iOS security features
- Is only accessible by the ReverseAudio app
- Can be deleted by you at any time through the app or iOS settings
- Is automatically removed when you uninstall the app
4.2 Data Security Measures
We implement industry-standard security practices:
- Encryption: All data transmission with third-party services uses HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Minimal Data Collection: We only collect data essential for app functionality
- No Server Storage: We do not maintain servers that store user audio or personal data
- Secure APIs: Third-party service integrations use secure, encrypted connections
4.3 Data Breaches
While we implement strong security measures, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting our analytics or subscription systems, we will:
- Notify affected users within 72 hours (GDPR requirement)
- Report to relevant authorities as required by law
- Take immediate action to secure systems and prevent further breaches
5. Data Retention
We retain different types of data for different periods:
- Audio Files: Stored locally on your device until you delete them. We never have copies.
- Analytics Data: Retained by Firebase for 14 months, then automatically deleted
- Subscription Data: Retained by RevenueCat for the duration of your subscription plus 12 months for tax/legal compliance
- Crash Reports: Retained for 90 days for debugging purposes
When you uninstall the app, all local data on your device is immediately deleted by iOS.

Note: Due to our minimal data collection practices, we may not have personal data about you beyond anonymized analytics. In such cases, we will confirm this in our response.
7. Children's Privacy
ReverseAudio is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately. We will take steps to delete such information from our systems.
Users under 13 must obtain parental consent before using the app. Parents can use iOS parental controls to manage app access and in-app purchases.
8. International Data Transfers
Our third-party service providers (Firebase, RevenueCat) may process data in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. These transfers are governed by:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs): For transfers from the EEA
- Privacy Shield Framework: Where applicable
- Adequate Protection: Ensuring data receives equivalent protection
By using ReverseAudio, you consent to the transfer of information to countries outside your country of residence, which may have different data protection rules.
9. Do Not Track Signals
Some web browsers and mobile operating systems include Do Not Track (DNT) features. Currently, there is no industry standard for recognizing DNT signals.
ReverseAudio uses minimal analytics and does not track users across apps or websites. Our analytics cannot identify individual users, regardless of DNT settings.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors.
When we make changes:
- We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
- For material changes, we will notify you through the app or via email (if we have your email)
- Your continued use of ReverseAudio after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy

11. California "Shine the Light" Law

12. Nevada Privacy Rights
Nevada law allows Nevada residents to opt-out of the sale of certain personal information.
ReverseAudio does not sell personal information as defined by Nevada law. If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide Nevada residents with an opt-out mechanism.
